Fruit Punch

So.... on the way home when we were driving in the car, I remember looking down and seeing Megan's hand with a ring on her finger and thinking....wow, this is like...official. It was the first time that it really hit me. So I decided it would be a great time to take a picture of the Fruit Punch carton.

Yeah buddy... meet the fiance

So..... I like this picture. This is actually the only part of the hike that Megan wore her ring b/c she was too afraid it was going to fall off her hand down a cliff and that I would jump off the cliff after it. So maybe that was a good idea. Fiance is SUCH a cooler word than girl/boyfriend.

So this isn't really where it happened, but..... you get the idea. I'm pretty sure the real thing wasn't as..... poised, but the important part is that she said yes.

Ahhh... finally lunch

So we had a sweet view for our picnic lunch. Which was almost as good as the 14 inch long sandwich we had...mmmm boy.

Livin life on the edge

This is Brent's all-time favorite place to take pictures. It's on the edge of a cliff that's about 900 feet!!! The picture doesn't do it much justice but it is a long ways down and it's a little nerve-wrecking. Although you might think we're smiling here, we're actually giving one of those nervous laughs like....."haha, hurry up and take this picture before we lose it".

Checkin out the View

This is the first glimpse we caught of the majestic view from the top of the hike. You can see the ridge we hiked up to finish the hike in the left center of the picture right behind us. We were about 3/4 of the way finished with the hike here. So I decided it was a perfect time to practice my headlock manuever.
